EURONAILS HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

EURONAILS is committed to health and safety of our clients and staff and has implemented the following physical controls, updated policies and work procedures to ensure safe operations as required by the Provincial Health Office, WorkSafe BC and other governmental agencies.

Communicable Diseases Prevention:

Communicable diseases such as COVID-19, norovirus, and influenza are illnesses caused by an infectious agent or its toxins that occur through the direct or indirect transmission of an infectious agent or its products from an infected individual or another vector.

More information on Communicable Diseases can be found on BC Centre for Disease Control website: http://www.bccdc.ca/health-professionals/clinical-resources/communicable-disease-control-manual/communicable-disease-control

Implementation of Controls:

To prevent the spread of communicable diseases, several controls have been put in place at EURONAILS to provide a safe environment for clients and staff. Below is a full listing of all control measures and their definitions:

Appointment Required: Services are provided by appointments only and are not available to Walk-In clients.

Self-Assessment: Staff and Clients are expected to self-assess if they require medical attention due to their specific symptoms, and to refrain from coming to the salon if feeling symptoms of a communicable disease.

No accompanying visitors will be permitted to sit-in with the guest while their personal services are being performed, this includes family members and unaccompanied minors. Please note that for the comfort of all guests, EURONAILS Salon has No Kids and No Pets policy.

Hand Washing: All staff and clients will be required to wash hands upon entry into salon. Hand sanitizer is available at Reception.

Face Coverings: Staff may be wearing non-medical face masks as an added layer of protection to minimize exposure to dust and/or to prevent spread of any droplets.  Clients are welcome to wear personal face coverings for personal health reasons or preferences.

Cleaning Protocols: Salon Cleaning and Sanitation Plan is in effect, including frequent enhanced cleaning protocols to wipe all work surfaces, commonly touched areas, and seating areas with virucidal surface cleaner.

Ventilation and Air Conditioning: Workstations are equipped with nail dust collection systems, which are cleaned and maintained on regular basis. Central Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system undergoes routine filter cleaning and scheduled maintenance inspections.
